Watch Out! Here Comes Levi!

Watch out - here comes Levi! This is probably the most said phrase in my house right now (besides, 'Stop That'). As most of you know, Levi goes to therapy once a week. Because of Levi's health issues when he was born he qualifies for all kinds of developmental programs. They think he is just a touch behind developmentally. So, Levi does physical and occupational therapy once a week. Therapy has Levi doing all sorts of things that most people don't allow babies to do - like climb up AND down stairs. Of course at therapy everything is padded (unlike home). This has made Levi completely fearless of attempting anything! I'm constantly catching Levi going upstairs, into my room (involves one step) and the kitchen (also involves one step). You can't take your eyes off of him! In the time it took me to go pee yesterday he made it all the way across the living room and half way up the stairs!

I was tired of chasing him around th
is morning so I used his walker and some pillows to block off the rest of the house from the living room. However, he still managed to get through my blockade!

Look at my popsicle Mom!
Levi got to have a popsicle last night and he was sooo happy with it!

Too cute! I am so glad that he is using what he learned from therapy. It's one of those bittersweet things 'yeah he learned how to climb the steps at therapy', oh 'he's climbing the steps again.'Another big step for Levi is he is enjoying his popscile instead of screaming at it. Big milestones from the begining of summer to the end of summer. Way to go Levi!!

So true! I had forgotten about his first popsicle at the beginning of summer when he would hold it by the cold part and yell at it. LOL Good point. Another sign of improvement! Yeah Levi!

Levi develops more every time I see him! You work very hard with him daily; not just with your son but with Sierra and Sienna too!

So funny! We baracade Isabelle in too. We bought one baby gate, but those silly things are just so pricey, we hate to buy more! So we use couch cushions. She easily overcomes them, but if not, she's into EVERYTHING..and let's face it, we are too old to chase her around all the time:)
