Levi is not always an Angel!

So, Shell and I have been talking. We've noticed something about Levi that is a little disturbing. Now, before we get into this, let me say that my son is an angel. He doesn't cry very often. He loves to cuddle and give loveys. However, he's starting to go through this whole seperation anxiety thing. He doesn't really like to be away from me. So the couple of times that I have gone somewhere he has cried the whole time. However, I was under the impression that he was being a good boy for his Aunt Shell and his Grami. Now I'm starting to wonder. Check out these pictures:

Is he seriously trying to munch off Sienna's leg?! It looks like he is totally trying to eat Sienna!

If you look closely you can see that he has a hand full of Sienna's hair! Look at how happy it makes him!!

Again with the hair! This time he has a handful of Sierra's!

Now this picture really says something! Look at his face - Who is this mean looking little baby? I've never seen him before! This is not my son!

This last picture was taken at the rec by Shell when I went to the bathroom. She told him that she was taking to prove to his mommy how he is for Aunt Shell. I'm completely mortified! I've never seen him look like that. As soon as Mom saw the picture she knew immediately what was going on because she said that she knew the look! Can you believe that? I suppose the lesson to be learned from this is that our children are not always the angels we would like to believe they are!

Shell and the kids went swimming with us!

I took the kids to the rec again today and Shell and the kids joined us. We had such a nice day! My kids always enjoy having Aunt Shell, Maddie and Brandon around. (I think Shell agreed to come so she wouldn't have to listen to Sierra beg her again!) The pool that we go to has a pretty big slide. I have never been on it, nor have I ever seen any adult go down it - until my sister!! Shell decided that she was going to go down that slide and she did! She made it look like so much fun that I went down it twice after that. I also saw several other grown folk going down that slide today too. Shell came to the pool one time and liberated all the moms!!

Swimming at the Rec Center

The kids and I have been going swimming at the rec center alot. The kids really enjoy it and Sierra always runs into some friends from school. Here's a few pictures of the kids having fun. I wish I had a few more pictures of Sierra but she won't hardly get out of the pool and it's difficult to get a good picture when they're in the pool because of all the movement in the pool. I'll post more when I get them!

Some pictures of Levi

Levi gets left out of alot of pictures because he can't do what the other kids can yet. He's stuck in the stroller or on my hip. So, Levi gets his own post with some random pictures of him. Click on the picture to see a bigger view of it.

The Toledo Zoo

Levi had a doctor appointment in Toledo last week so I took the kids to the Toledo Zoo. Brandon got to go with us but Maddie had basketball camp so she couldn't come. It was HOT! But we all had a good time. Sierra actually touched a live snake! Sienna & I didn't even want to go into the reptile house. We got to hear the elephant do his thing and Sienna got soooo excited! She was really cute (everyone at the zoo told me so after seeing her reaction). The zoo had baby polar bears on exhibit. They were really cute playing with a ball and jumping in the water. When the bear came out of the water he shook his head (in the way that animals do). Sienna thought this was really funny. When she gets water in her eyes in the pool I remind her of the polar bear. Then she shakes her head and moves on. We now refer to this as 'Do the polar bear'. Brandon was really a delight to take with us. He was a big help to me with the smaller kids and nice for Sierra to have an older kid to talk to. Here's some pictures of our trip. Click on the picture to see a bigger version of it.
